The paymaster is responsible for accumulation, calculation and allocation of the Tipping and Bar Gratuity onboard. In this position you must be good with numbers to be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Major responsibilities are:
- Calculates tips for plan participants based on the Tipping and Bar Gratuity policy
- Calculates guarantees, actual wages
- Collects crew administration costs onboard via appropriate payroll system
- Responding to crew questions and concerns regarding tipping calculations.
